Bird Ridge Trail - Watch the eagles soar beneath you as you reach the top. Located near Indian and Girdwood Alaska in the Chugach State Park. The Trail is 4.6 miles round trip and very popular with outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hiking and running the trail to get into shape, The first part of the trail is a steep uphill climb with elevation peaking at 3,218 feet. This video also features one of southcentral Alaska's premier fishing spots Bird Creek with an abundance of salmon in the summer and fall months. Also, we will take a quick look at the Bird Creek Campground which features 24 campsites, picnic tables, fire pits, toilets, and water. A must-see for anyone planning on camping, hiking, or fishing in Alaska.
