Gull Rock Trail - This 5.7-mile hiking trail offers majestic sweeping views of the Turnagain Arm and the Chugach Mountains. Gull Rock Trail is located in Hope Alaska adjacent to the Porcupine Campgrounds and is part of the Chugach National Forest. Easy Hike with gradual up and down slopes and just a couple of smaller steep sections. The trail winds through spruce and birch forest along the south section of the Turnagain Arm. Porcupine Campground offers 34 campsites with picnic tables, and fire rings with toilets and drinking water nearby. Just down the road is Resurrection creek where you can try your luck at salmon fishing or gold panning. There is also Hope Point Trail which can be accessed from Gull Rock Trail as well. There is also a small cafe in the town of Hope. Gull Rock Trail is "not recommended" for horses or biking.
