Here’s the other sterling silver goody I found with the first gold strike of the season. While I was looking the earring and pendant set over, the owner told me that she bought the set in Mexico during one of her trips. The price tag read $5. I knew I could sell this unique set for more than that. So I bought it.
She said she traveled quite often and we started talking about some of her trips. It was delightful to listen to her talk about some of her journeys, while browsing the sale.
Here are the details of the sterling silver set. It weighed 12.99 grams. The set sold on January 4, 2014 for $14.99. Minus the purchase price and fees, I made $8.50. With the gold ring (also purchased at this sale), I made a profit of $33.75. And this was just the first sale of the morning. Not bad for about 20 minutes of my time.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting,
